These ranges are situated in wildlife management areas, state forests, and other locations, offering facilities for individuals aiming to improve their hunting skills or marksmanship. The ranges cater to various shooting disciplines with outdoor and, in one case, indoor options, including specific accommodations for shooters with disabilities.
Permitted cartridges include 17 HMR, .22 short/long/long rifle/mag, and others with STRAIGHT-WALL CASING ONLY. NO MAGNUMS, HOLLOW POINTS, WAD CUTTERS, SEMI WAD CUTTERS, +P or +P+. Closed on specific holidays and some ranges have specific days of operation.
