The Brown County Rifle Range is a public facility open each fall from September to November for sight-in purposes. It features experienced park staff to assist shooters with adjusting their sights. The range offers 10 shooting lanes with targets set up at 25, 50, and 100 yard distances, and is equipped to accommodate handguns, shotguns, rifles, crossbows, and compound bows. The facility is also available for reservation by law enforcement agencies, hunter education instructors, and security companies.
Free gun and archery sight in for all veterans and active-duty military members on November 11, 2024, with military ID. Closed November 22 through late September 2025.
