The Eau Claire Rod and Gun Club, established in 1907, is the oldest continuously operating sportsman's club in Wisconsin. It originated from a meeting of local sportsmen aiming to support fish and game propagation and member sociability. Over the years, it merged with the Indianhead Gun Club, The Western Wisconsin Pistol Club, and The Chippewa Valley Field Trial Association, maintaining their goals within a larger framework. With around 1,000 current members, the club focuses on providing sporting activities in a family-friendly atmosphere for the Eau Claire area.
