The Central Whidbey Sportsmen�s Association (CWSA) was founded on 11 December 1947, emphasizing camaraderie and sportsmanship. It aims to provide a premier facility for shooting sports, offering a safe environment for firearm enthusiasts to exercise and share their passion. The association promotes firearm education, friendly competitions, and meetings on related topics, striving for a positive public perception through good citizenship and fellowship.
Shotguns only allowed on the Trap Range, Pattern board, and Bay 6 with Lead shot 7 1/2 or smaller. Slugs can be used only in the old short range behind the clubhouse and the 100 and 200 yard ranges for sighting in shotguns for hunting. Members must complete 1 service project per year or pay a $50.00 penalty upon membership renewal. Members over 75 with five years of good standing and those over 80 are exempt from service projects.
