The National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) are the governing bodies for skeet and sporting clays shooting, respectively. Founded in 1928, the NSSA is the largest skeet shooting organization globally and hosts the World Skeet Championships annually. The NSCA, established in 1989 as a division of NSSA, has grown to become the largest sporting clays organization worldwide, hosting the National Sporting Clays Championship annually.
