Chilhowee Sporting Clays, located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee, offers a unique clay target shooting experience with breathtaking views. Founded by Mickey Burns, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and competitive sporting clays shooter, the range opened in early 2006. After Mickey's passing in 2021, the new owner, Jimmy Rickman, continues to honor Mickey's legacy by improving the facilities and expanding the range offerings. The range is known for its welcoming hospitality and caters to a variety of events including family gatherings, corporate team building, and charity fundraisers.
No use of assault-style or military/police defense style shotguns. Ammo must be 2 3/4" max length, shot sizes 7.5, 8, or 9. No 3" ammo. Rifles limited to .22 rimfire or pistol rounds. No centerfire rifle cartridges.
