Whitetail Preserve, established in 1988 by six hunting enthusiasts, aims to recreate the shooting experience they enjoyed on a South Dakota pheasant hunt. The Preserve has since expanded to offer guided field hunts for Pheasant, chucker, or quail, and features professionally designed Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clay fields that are handicapped accessible. It supports youth shooting, including working with children with special needs, and hosts the Hazleton Area High School Shooting Club, which has seen success in state and national competitions.
