The Tranquility Wildlife Area Shooting Range is an unsupervised rifle and pistol target range classified under Class B by the ODNR Division of Wildlife. It offers a place for shooting enthusiasts to practice their skills. The range requires shooters aged 18 and older to purchase a Shooting Range Permit, available at hunting & fishing license outlets, as permits are not sold at the range itself. This requirement helps offset the cost of operations, maintenance, trash removal, and improvements.
Legal targets are single sheet paper targets, or stationary reactive or self-healing polymer targets only. Shooters must supply their own target holders, approved by the range attendant. Fully automatic firearms and rapid fire of semi-automatic firearms are prohibited.
