The Springville Field and Stream Club, Inc., established in July 1934, quickly grew from twenty to sixty members by September of the same year. By-Laws were established, officers elected, and a 32-acre plot near Springville was purchased in March 1935 for the club. A log cabin clubhouse began construction in May 1939 and opened in 1940, overlooking Cattaraugus Creek and Zoar Valley. The club expanded in 1949 with the acquisition of the Springville Field and Stream Pond. Today, it serves as a hub for sportsmen/women focusing on wildlife conservation, gun rights, and promoting responsible sportsmanship. The grounds offer various activities including education, hunting, fishing, shooting, and are available for private functions.
