Lansing Rod & Gun Club, established in 1955 by local hunters, fishermen, clay target shooters, and conservationists, has grown to support a wide range of activities. These include trapshooting, rifle and pistol shooting, pheasant raising and release, fish stocking, stream improvement, and hunter safety training programs. The club emphasizes responsible gun ownership, youth safety, conservation efforts like a successful Walleye rearing and stocking effort, and community involvement through scholarships and charitable contributions.
