The Fernan Rod & Gun Club (FRGC) is a non-profit organization established in 1989 in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service and the Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game. It is a family-oriented range that encourages family participation and hosts a variety of firearm training and competition activities. FRGC is unique as it is the only joint military, civilian, and police firing range of its type in Idaho and among the few in the United States.
Safety is the primary emphasis; disregard of rules may result in termination of membership. No speed limits on guns, no firearm types restrictions, shooting steel allowed, and dynamic courses of fire allowed.
