The Apalachicola Shooting Range, located in the Apalachicola National Forest, is an unsupervised range that offers rifle and handgun ranges. It was established in 1984 through a collaboration between the U.S. Forest Service and the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR).
Shotguns are prohibited except for shooting shotgun slugs; closed the fourth Saturday of every month until 2 p.m. for hunter safety classes; closed sunset to sunrise, and on Monday and Friday mornings until noon.
