The Tenoroc Public Shooting Range, built by the FWC and funded by the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR), offers a comprehensive shooting facility. It includes supervised rifle and handgun ranges, sporting clays, trap, an air rifle range, and an elevated archery range. Additional support came from the Polk County Sheriff? Office, the National Rifle Association, and the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida, aiming to provide a space for hunter safety students and the public to practice safe, responsible firearms handling and target shooting.
Youth 15 and under are free with a fee-paying adult. Shooters can use any combination of rifle/handgun/archery ranges with the purchase of a rifle or handgun range fee.
