Bear Claw Ranch & Club, located west of Hontoon Island on the St. Johns River, boasts a rich history intertwined with the outdoors and agritourism. Originally inhabited by the Mayaca Indians and later claimed by various European powers, the land has seen many transformations. Purchased in 1982 by Dr. Clay Reynolds III and his family, the property was developed from marshes and swamps into a thriving ranch. Today, under the stewardship of Linda and her sons Murphy and Jason, the ranch continues to grow, offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational activities.
