The Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex (CMSC) is a collaborative effort between the U.S. Army, El Paso County, the El Paso County Sheriff, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the U.S. Forest Service. Spanning 400 acres, the complex offers 9 independent ranges with over 110 individual covered firing points, including over 50 pistol positions, and supports distances ranging from 7 yards for handguns to 300 yards for rifles on paper. It is designed to cater to a wide array of shooting disciplines in a safe, family-friendly environment.
No concealed carry, no children under 6, shooters under 18 require adult supervision, shooters under 21 need an adult for the pistol range, obey all range commands, no steel target shooting, no armor piercing/incendiary ammo, no alcohol, ear and eye protection required.
