Northern Firearms Instruction

Northern Firearms Instruction (NFI) is the largest firearms training organization in California, founded in 2007 by retired US Army Command Sergeant Major Ted Lidie. NFI specializes in California CCW courses, offering a range of firearms training from basic safety to advanced handling. The organization began with the Shasta County CCW program and has expanded to teach in over 50 regions across the state. NFI is recognized for its comprehensive curriculum developed for shotgun, rifle, and pistol students, including California Hunter Education Classes.
