The Juneau Gun Club (JGC) is an Alaskan Non-Profit Corporation focused on providing recreational shooting opportunities to the Juneau community. Managed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by an active membership of over 200 shooters, JGC emphasizes family participation, firearms safety, hunter education, and competitive shooting. The club features four voice-activated trap houses and a newly-remodeled clubhouse, and it sponsors ATA and PITA competitions as well as a winter trap league.
Safety is paramount with specific rules such as mandatory ear and eye protection, actions open except on the firing line or in the rack, and no shooting after alcohol consumption. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
