Range Description
The South Bay Rod & Gun Club, established in 1955, is a premier shooting range located a few miles east of Dulzura, California. As a private, non-profit organization, the club is dedicated to providing a safe and well-managed environment for shooting enthusiasts of all levels. The facility features five outdoor shooting ranges, each designed to accommodate various shooting disciplines and distances. Range #1 allows shooting up to 30 meters, while Range #2 extends to 50 meters. Range #3 is available for distances up to 100 yards, and Range #6 offers a 300-yard range with target frames at multiple distances (50, 100, 200, and 300 yards). The club also has a Trap Range operational on weekends and Wednesdays, catering to shotgun enthusiasts.
The South Bay Rod & Gun Club prides itself on its commitment to safety, with all ranges supervised by at least one Range Safety Officer. Members and guests can enjoy amenities such as shade covers over firing lines, restrooms, and cold beverage machines at select ranges.
