Range Description
Alburtis Rod & Gun Club, established in 1937, is a prominent shooting range and firearms facility located just outside Alburtis, Pennsylvania. The club has a rich history that dates back to 1925 when a group of local hunters came together to form a community-focused rod and gun club. Over the decades, the club has grown significantly, now boasting a membership of approximately 1,700 individuals. The facility spans over 200 acres, with more than 80% of the land being wooded, providing ample opportunities for hunting and outdoor activities.
The club features several shooting ranges, including a 100-yard rifle range and a 25-yard pistol range, both of which are outdoor facilities. The rifle range is equipped with three bench rests under a roof, while the pistol range is designed specifically for handguns. Additionally, the club offers shotgun patterning facilities and two automatic traps for trap shooting. Archery enthusiasts will find dedicated targets and distance markers adjacent to the mine holes on the property.
Membership at the Alburtis Rod & Gun Club is available to responsible adults aged 21 and older, with an initial fee of $60 covering both the initiation fee and the first year's dues. Annual renewal dues are set at $30. Membership privileges include access to all club facilities for the member and their immediate family, including fishing, hunting, and use of all ranges.
