The Hernando Sportsman's Club, located in Brooksville, Florida, is a premier destination for firearms enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of shooting sports activities. Established in 1980, the club has grown to become the third largest shooting sports facility in Florida open to the public, boasting an expansive 80-acre outdoor facility within the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area. The club features multiple shooting ranges, including dedicated areas for pistol practice at 15 and 25 yards, as well as rifle ranges at 50, 100, and 200 yards. Additionally, the club provides trap and skeet fields, catering to shotgun enthusiasts, and an archery range for those interested in archery sports. The Hernando Sportsman's Club is open to the public with specific hours for different activities. Rifle and pistol practice is available Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Shotgun, trap, and skeet ranges have adjusted summer hours from 9 AM to 12 noon, Thursday through Sunday, with additional Thursday night trap shooting from 5 PM to 9 PM.
