Range Description
The Waynesboro Fish and Game Protective Association, Inc., established in 1947, is a prominent shooting range and firearms facility located in south central Pennsylvania. Spanning 98 acres of picturesque mountain and farmland, the club is dedicated to promoting the responsible management of fish and game wildlife resources while fostering positive relationships between landowners and sportsmen. The facility boasts a variety of outdoor ranges, including a 200-yard rifle range, a 25-yard pistol range, and a 100-yard carbine range, catering to a diverse range of shooting enthusiasts. Additionally, the club features a trap range, a turkey shoot building, picnic grounds, and an outdoor archery range, making it a versatile destination for both recreational and competitive shooters. With approximately 4,000 members, the club places a strong emphasis on youth activities, hosting events such as the annual Franklin County Sportsman for Youth Field Day, trout fishing rodeos, and various shooting competitions.
