Castlewood Rod & Gun Club, established in 1953, is a premier shooting sports facility located just 4 miles east of New Castle, PA. With over 350 active members, this member-driven club spans over 100 acres of picturesque rolling hills, providing a diverse range of terrains and cover for various shooting activities. The club is dedicated to promoting shooting sports and offers a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced shooters. The facility features an impressive array of shooting options, including two spectacular sporting clay courses with nearly two dozen stations each, making it an ideal destination for clay shooting enthusiasts. Additionally, the club hosts a myriad of indoor and outdoor handgun ranges, with seven outdoor pistol bays and a spacious indoor facility that accommodates club shoots throughout the year. The offerings extend beyond just pistol and clay shooting; Castlewood also provides facilities for Skeet, Trap, Pyramid 5-Stand, and a 500+ yard rifle range. Archery enthusiasts can take advantage of both indoor and outdoor archery events. Regular meetings are held on the first Monday of each month, fostering a strong community among members.
